Well, today is as good a day to start as any! Welcome to our brand new blog, where we will include all information and photos for our newly expanding family. J and I have been married for just over 5 years, and I'm just about 3 months pregnant with our first little monkey, entering into my second trimester today. We are excited to welcome this little one into the world, hopefully somewhere near the end of August.
It's taken me a while to get this blog started, mostly due to a lack of an obvious starting point. We found out Thursday evening, December 17th, and while we were quite excited from the moment the second line showed up on the test, we were understandably a little cautious about shouting it to the world. You never know what can happen, and it was still quite early. So, I chose to wait to start writing about the experience. With the advent of the second trimester and the subsequent announcements via Fac.ebook, Twit.ter, and good ole' fashioned conversations (face to face and telephone), I decided to go ahead and get the blogging party started. I aim to post somewhat frequently and have this be the main place for baby information (and not on Fac.ebook).
